The new USD logo (605 Magazine September Cover Story)

I had the pleasure of shooting the cover story for the September 605 magazine.  The University of South Dakota has a new logo and the shoot took a Madmen 60's direction.  This was a really fun shoot, everyone involved did a great job.  Natalie is the girl at the desk who was the account manager on the Lawrence & Schiller team that designed it and Joe is the "logo police," the man in charge of implementing the new logo on campus and elsewhere.  This post doesn't even do the whole shoot justice.  Check out the new issue for the full experience. Andrea & Ross {South Dakota Engagement}

Meet Ross & Andrea... Andrea is a 3rd grade teacher with an incredibly sweet demeanor to match.  Ross is an outdoorsy laid-back kind of guy who is all about making Andrea happy.  With spending just one evening with these two you can see how happy they make each other.  Both down to earth, always smiley, and easy on the eyes! We spent a wonderful Friday evening roaming a gorgeous horse pasture and walking around Oak Wood State Park.  This was our first time incorporating horses and chickens and we LOVED the challenge!  The combination of natural beauty from the outdoors, perfect South Dakota light, curious horses, Angelique of Platinum Imaginations (for hair & makeup on Andrea) and this full-of-life couple made for truly organic and timeless photographs.
